Cheers To all the 70s and 80s babies !

- One Of The Best Email That I ever enjoyed When I Read -

Let me share this email with you......

><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

For your reading pleasure... some might be true. Hope you all will enjoy reading it. This might bring you back to the old memory especially during those school days.....

Signs that you are a 70s' or 80s' baby :

You grew up watching G-Force, He-man, Transformers, Thundercats, Silver Hawk, Woody Woodpecker, Chipmunks and Mickey Mouse. Not to forget Ninja Turtles, Mask, Smurfs and Voltron too.

Girls watched Japanese cartoon like My Little Pony, "Xiao Tian Tian", "Hua Xian Zi" etc.

You grew up brushing your teeth with a mug in primary school after recess time.

You squatted by a drain with all your classmates beside you, and brushed your teeth with a colourful mug.

Remember the days when the school nurse, comes with a list for the dentist appointment, the sound of the drilling when your friend has a fill in his tooth.

You remember the packets of milk we get in primary school to encourage us to drink more milk. (It cost only 30 cent per pack)

In secondary school, girls go to the library to borrow their favourite romance storybook.

In secondary school, girls altered their school skirt to shorten it and guys will go to the school appointed school uniform tailor shop to tailor make their school trousers to the then fashionable "baggy pants"!

During primary school days, the teacher will punish you using a ruler to hit your palm.

A bowl of noodles soup cost only 30cent in primary school days.

When you were in primary school, girls like to go to the bookshop to buy cute stuff such as animal erasers, various shape sharpeners, colourful notebook etc.

Hankyu Jaya, Yaohan departmental stores used to be a favourite hangout for families during weekends.

In secondary school days, you buy the Bata BM Turbo or Pallas Jazz school shoes.
Some guys like to wear those china made ankle high shoes. Some even like to wear those very thick socks with their school shoes.

Internet? E-mail? What the hell is that?

So you thought a decade or more ago, your friends don't have pagers or handphones in school.

CDs? What's that? Cassette tapes were the norm.
Movie tickets used to cost less than $5 last time.

The goodies from Mama shop used to be Chickerdis, Mamee , Kum Kum, UFO, O-Ya, Ding Dang chocolate balls with toys in the box, colourful hard "egg", "cigerette" bubble gum, KIKI Bubble Gum, pink bottle of bubbles c/w a small tubes with yellow sticks to blow "more lasting" bubbles that you can pop more air in or slam it on.

You never forget 'Ti Kam'.
When exams are over, the board games ( e.g Monopoly, Donkey, Transportation Comparison Card) & held video games will be all over the class room.

Your favourite sound is the bell
For it's the homemade ice cream man. The cream that tops Haagan Dazs!

And the other peddler you love is the old lady who sells juicy Muah Chee and thick olden syrup rolled in a balloon the tip of a chopstick
Another bell is the recess bell, a time to get away from school work and to eat.

Another time when there is no bell but all guys will anxiously wait for it...The PJ (Pendidikan Jasmani), PE time (time for football)
Your favourite childhood games were playing "guli"(marbles), five stones, five bottle cover, zero-point, catching, "Pepsi-Cola one two three" and/or "Police & Sentry"!

The best thirst quencher of all times is the yummy colourful ice tubes you can buy from provision shops for only 10cent. To eat them, break the tab and suck while holding the freezing tube!

All gals have a girl doll/strawberry shortcake/my little pony/pound puppy, while all boys have a soldiers figurine (combat) or a rubber band catapult that shoots folded paper!

Once was the era whereby ice-cream sticks were valuable items, then came the paper aircrafts, chalk fights.

Some boys made their own guns from wood, and used 'Bacali' as the bullets.
Some even used matches to shoot and burn kids'lanterns during MoonCake Festival.

And your favourite holiday was Deepavali or Lunar New Year! New clothes, Ang Pows, shopping, junk food and family outings!

Let's see, the majority of students in universities today were born in 1987/ 88.... They are called "youth".

For them, they have never heard of the song "We are the World, we are the Children..." And the "Uptown Girl" they know is by 'West Life' but not " Billy Joel'.

For them, there have always been only one
Germany and only one Vietnam .
AIDS exists since they were born.

CD exists since they were born.

Michael Jackson is already whitened.

John Travolta is always round in shape and they can't imagine how this fat guy could be a god of dance.

They believe that Spiderman and Incredible Hulk are just new films.

They can never imagine a black and white screen for a computer.

They never know what is Atari or 'Game & Watch'.

They can't believe a black and white television ever existed and they don't even know how to switch on a TV without a remote control.

And they never understand how we can go out without a mobile phone when we were in university...

Let's check if we're getting old...

1. You understand what was written above and you smile.

2. Most of your secondary school friends are getting married.

3. You are always surprised to see small children playing comfortably
with computer.

4. When you see teenagers with mobile phones, you shake your head.

5. You spend less and less time talking on phone with your friends
daily.

6. When you meet your old friends from time to time, talking about the
good old days, repeating again and again all funny stories you experienced together.

7. Lastly, having read this mail, you are thinking of forwarding it to
some other old friends. You think they will like it too.....

Hahaha!.... Yes! We are getting old too...........

Brings back old memories huh?

Cheers to the 70s n 80s babies!!!

Positive Thinking

Busy Life

Positive Thinking ! What is that means ? A lot of people speak about this mantra, when they speak about creating positive attitudes, healthy mind and a happy life. But, what's the positive ways of making our thoughts?!

"Positive" - Means advantageous or good. So, do we mean thinking good or thinking to one's own advantage ?! Thinking one's own advantage may be taken to be a bit selfish then the entire idea of positive thinking becomes an unhealthy practise. Then, what else is the meaning ?!

'Positive Thinking' means thinking for a good to happen, the way of thinking which puts us in an advantageous position, but not resultant of a merely selfish attitude.

Ok, lets get into easy terms. Think that you are going for an interview, what do you think about the outcomes? We all have an internal fear and it makes us think " Will I clear the interview? ". This makes us loose our self confidence, makes us small and eventually lead to us loosing the interview. This is negative thinking, thinking that we will/may fail, thinking what will happen if we lose and keep thinking that way. So, positive thinking is.. thinking that we can perform, thinking we will able to deliver our best. This improves our self confidence and thereby makes us to win situations.

Let us take another practical situation which we might have encountered certainly in some point of our lives. Think... You ring up your friend. You keep ringing to tell an important news ( according to you! ). But, your friend is held up in some kind of business, which you have no clue of what it is. You think your friend is purposely not attending your phone. Or else worse, your friend picks the phone and barks at you for ringing up and cuts the call. What do we all think at such a situation ?!

Most of us think that he is doing purposely and feel hurt. we get into lots of wild stories and conclusions, which have a negative impact in our vision about our innocent fellow. Next, as a result of our sour encounter, we decide not to speak to him thereof. This poor guys tries ringing you up after a couple of days when things have calmed down at his end but you are still burning. You don't take the call and now he feels bad. He starts thinking the same negative way as you did a couple of days ago! This way things build up more and more negatively on both the sides. One day, you both coincidentally meet up somewhere. But, instead of speaking out and solving your problem, you both turn away and go in your own ways. These things pile up with time and end up in hatred !

There is a saying, "Attitudes determine Thoughts, Thought determines Feelings, Feelings determine Actions and Actions determine our Life". Consider the previous example, negative attitude lead to think negatively when the friend doesn't take the call. When we think negatively, we feel bad and negative about the friend. When we think bad, our actions becomes unfriendly. And finally, when our actions becomes unfriendly, we lose a friend in life!

Lets start thinking positive with the same story.... When your friend fails to answer your call, you think that your friend is having some problem right that time, and you decide to ring him later. There is a feeling of concern about your friend which arises out of the care you have for him. When you ring him up later or meet him somewhere, you enquire whats the problem with him and try to help him out. By seeing the care you have over him, the friend too thinks high about you and become a best pal of yours. And, your friendship never fails !

Me too was thinking negatively before hearing this story during my induction program. When I started thinking about this, it made me realize that I myself was landing up in lots of troubles , blame my own negative thoughts. So, i decided to try out thinking positively. I thought of trying to change one thing by thinking positive about it, and will you believe it happened! The thing which was troubling me for a couple of months, is now in a better state :)

So, start thinking positively. You will realize yourselves that things becoming positive around you!! :)

I just feel like wanna publish this matter because "THIS IS WHAT MY BRAIN SAYS" ;)

Why I became a devotee of Divine Mother KALI / DURGA DEVI?

Durga Devi

Its all came from bless of my cousin brother "YOGESWARAN" my "GURU" (Master).

He taught me how to pray & how to live with Guts when I was 10. You got no idea how good he is in black magic, he is one of real brave man that I ever seen.

If I’m not wrong I think he started to pray to "KALI" when he was 18 now he is 30+. He learned the "MANTHRA" (Spells) & Black Magic from his master from my village (Jalan Istana Klang).

Where is Jalan Istana Klang?
It’s a 1 of village which located at Selangor state. The village where I born. It’s no more. Sad :(

He sacrifice his life for 6 months for get the power by reading the spells & eating only porridge (once a day) which normally others will do for 48 days only (include me).

The place that he goes for read the spells & do the black magic is at Graveyard (Simpang lima Klang- near jalan istana klang). He owned a temple over there with big “KALI AMMA” statue (about 10ft tall). Such a beautiful statue.
I use to follow him over there & I’m still visiting the temple once in the while because I can’t stop pray to her & I feel I’m gifted to became a devotee of "KALI".

My cousin brother loves me so much & I love him as well. The only cousin brother which I close with. He willing to teach & give me all hi’s knowledge & powers but I said I don’t want because it’s not my style. I love too but I just ignore it for my family members. My family doesn’t like it at all. Me abit naughty dat's why followed him all the while.

He uses his powers for control or catch the bad sprits/Evils (Exp: TOYOL). It might sounds like story of movie but it’s true. I went thru my life with him & I know what was happened.

Since I join with my cousin brother, Divine mother “KALI” stick to me without my knowledge & I accept her as GOD.

This is how she looks like,
Kali Amma

OM NAMO MAHA KALIYE NAMO NAMAHA
(Basic ”Manthra (spell)” of divine mother ”KALI”)

She will be an angel if you pray her in a good way at the same time she will be a devil if u use her for bad things & you have to start to count your days.

If you ask me whether I can do black magic or not?
No, I don’t. I never learn that, because it’s not my style.

I learned my "MANTHRA" (Spells) from friend of mine "Mahendran" my 2nd "GURU" (master) because the spell that I'm using is normal one. The spells that my cousin brother used is real hardcore one.

Now I’m a "Guru" (master) for my 2 friends,
Thiru & Vickneswaran.

How to become a master?
Look to the master,
Follow the master,
Walk with the master,
See through the master,
Become the master.
But Do Not Betray Your Own MASTER.

Some of the Indian know bout this Mother very well & some of them don’t.
Some of them will understand/believe what I wrote here & some of them don’t.

This is one of my life history & It’s just a small story bout my cousin brother "YOGESWARAN" & Divine mother “KALI”. Will be back with full story bout them in next blog.

The great tamil school revolution

When i think bout our indians fate in this country.... its really make me sad when our Tamil schools are still in bad shape....

I received an email from friend of mine... ragarding this issue.... i would like put this news apart of your eyes for a small view.

Title : The amazing Tamil school

This is the most amazing, I have seen tamil schools everywhere, and just when i tought I have seen most from all the kontena schools, sekolah pondok, sekolah papan to the Unesco United Nations tamil school in Kuantan Bandar Muadzam Shah, now the most extreme of all.... a SHOPLOT SCHOOL!!!! even the balai rakyat that is beside this school is much grand than this school!! the school has 50 students and no field and their neighbour is a welding shop!!!!

Great Job we have achieved in 50 years of independance!!!! and the Headlines of the star newspaper is POOR NO MORE in malaysia. yeah, keep pushing the vision backwards, vision 2020 has become vision 2057!! and lets walk backward further by building Indonesian schools instead of a school for Indian community which is as official citizens of this country require... or should we go back to india to learn our language? This is shameful not only to our community but the parties representing us. We can walk into the HALL OF SHAME instead!!! The school already fought a battle to remain open when the goverment wanted to shut it down, their struggles are far from over!!!!

our goverment is so couraging to helping build indon schools. The chinese are not begging at all!!! they have built over 1300 schools with their own money, all up to university standard!

Really Amazing !!!!

I respect the person who wrote this.... Thanks for voice out.
